Question Computer turns off during Kombustor Stress Test?

So hey guys. New build. Testing it out. Using Ryzen 3 2200g and Rx570 with 600w PSU and 8gb single stick Ballistic sports RAM.

Haven't OCed, but I set the RAM frequency to 2666 in Bios though.

When I open PES 2019, it's laggy and then turns off (no signal)

The PC also just turns off during Kombustor Stress Test for a few minutes.

CPU cooling would be just the packaged wraith fan

GPU cooling would be also the dual fans that came with it. It's an Rx570 Sapphire OC edition.

Temps with Ryzen master say 65 for the CPU

Temps with Kombustor goes up to 75 max.

EDIT: EVERYTHING IS STILL RUNNING AFTER DISPLAY OFF. THE TEMPERED GLASS ON MY CASE IS HOT, EVEN THE AIR THAT GOES OUT IS HOT.

After 1:45 minutes of Kombustor things just die out.

Is this a faulty PSU or GPU?

Please help, any help is appreciated, thank you.

That's the problem actually. You want a good quality PSU, and at the same time you expect it to be cheap as well. That's not always possible. QUALITY units do cost more for some good reason. But sadly, withing your budget, it's getting hard to recommend a reputable PSU model.

Why don't you go for that SEASONIC Focus GOLD PSU/550W, which @bignastyid has recommended. That's a good power supply. It will work on your PC. Don't always see the WATTAGE number alone on any power supply unit. That means nothing. QUALITY is all that maters.

The main concern is the "quality" of the power, the quality of the components used/CAPS, as well as the total AMP drawn on the +12V RAIL (output), the efficiency under load, "ripple suppression", among other factors. The total wattage number of any PSU is not always really the most important deciding factor, primary concern is the 'quality' of power it produces, and the total capacity of the 12V source etc.

The OEM also matters a lot, instead of the actual PSU brand. I've seen PSUs labelled as 1K watts, but in actual real world scenarios, they can hardly pull 400 Watts from the wall, even under full load.

Hmmm okay. But before I get to buying online I'd rather get one from a local store, which leads me to the question:
What other brands can you guys recommend apart from Seasonic? How about these listings? Are they any good?

I think the only ones common here would be Corsair, EVGA, Thermaltake, Silverstone, and Enermax...
Would the RGB Thermaltake be a good PSU? How about Aerocool? It's a very popular brand here. Always advertised as a gaming psu

What would be the best wattage for me if I plan on adding 6 rgb fans with a fan hub? My current build is ryzen 3 2200g, msi B450m bazooka plus and I'm planning to get an Nvidia 1060

Planning to either give it to my brother or resell it for around 100$... I got it for around 120$ before 😅
Plus, I heard the 1060 needs less power compared to my Nitro+ Rx570 OC Edition.

Looking at the market prices here in the Philippines, the 1060 only costs 10$ more than the Rx570... Well, it depends on the seller, I guess but yea their prices seem to be close, with some sellers still pricing their Rx570 more than the 1060s... Anyway, I'm still going to get a new PSU, but what I'm looking for would be both decent performance and good price enough for my build 😅

What would be your minimum price for a good PSU? 75$?

I took a quick look on the sites you've linked, the cheapest unit that is I'd consider OK that I saw is: https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/...chlistcategory.list.4.5d6c3ae97odoqa&search=1

It's not a great unit and probably won't last as long as a good quality one, but it should get the job done for now.

That being said, the fact that everything stays running and just the display turns off makes me wonder if it's really a PSU issue. Did you do a clean install of Windows for this build? Have you tried uninstalling graphics drivers using DDU then reinstalling?

I am a firm believer in high quality power supplies, and I agree with what others have said. With that said, have you made sure that none of your fans are installed backwards? The front fan should pull air in, and the rear should push air out. If one is backwards it can lead to overheating.

Didn't do the DDU thing but I have tried reinstalling windows and uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. I feel like Radeon Wattman is doing something to my system since multiple reports like mine are happening which sucks. 0 artifacts and my Temps are pretty good under load, no signs of overheating.

All fans have been pre-installed so I'm pretty sure they're good.

Just because the fans were pre-installed doesn't mean it was done right. Always check the simple stuff first. Trust me when I say it sucks to spend hours and $$$ on a fix, only to discover that the issue was a free 1 minute solution that was staring at you the entire time.

Well yea they are installed correctly. They're the fans that came with the case so no worries.
Again, my temps on my ryzen with ryzen master are 39-42 which are normal
And my Temps with the Rx570 is 75 max under 100% load
