Hey guys,
So, I have been having this problem with my computer for a while now (2-3 months) and what happens is that the PC randomly will shut off at random times without any warning / any blue screens / or any crashes or crash logs etc. it just shuts off like there has been a power cut and automatically turns back on again as if it had just restarted.
The problem can continue for quite a while, meaning it will turn off and turn back on again quite a couple times, sometimes it will turn off even without the computer being loaded into the password screen (like it was struggling to receive power). Sometimes the computer will load past that and let me log in, and after around 10-15 min it will happen again, unless I run a game that uses a lot of memory or power within that time.
The problem seems to happen when e.g. usually when just browsing the web or listening to music, or doing anything on my computer that doesn't involve gaming or running a game that is very much power consuming (GTA V, Warframe or any AAA titles).
I have been reading a lot of forums and I am aware that it may be the PSU, but I just can't find the solution to my problem, as it is weird that the computer NEVER had turned off like that when gaming, just in the examples mentioned above.
What I struggle to understand is why does the computer never turns off while gaming but it does turn off and on when doing simple tasks like the ones mentioned above, also if I run a game for about an hour or so and quit it, the computer will not turn off and run as normal.
My PC specs are:
Motherboard - Foxconn 2ADA
Monitors - HP w2228h and HP2211x
GPU - NIVIDIA GTX 750ti 2GB
CPU - i5-3550 3.30GHz
RAM - 6GB RAM DDR3
PSU - EVO LABS E-600BR (600w)
