Computer turns on and off after shut down

After I finish using my desktop and shut it down for the night, in the middle of the night it would turn itself back on for a few seconds and off again its rather annoying cause the room lights up randomly throughout the night and this happens more than once throughout the night.
System specs:
Intel i7 4790K
Evga gefore 770 declassified
MSI z97-g45 gaming mobo
16gb ram
evga psu

hardware is fine I believe this to be a software issue but I have not found an answer that worked.

Did you install Intel SmartConnect? This will wake up a PC to check email and/or social media at periodic intervals.

I checked and I never installed it... However I did read that MSI fast boot keeps the system in ram even when shut down that's uninstalled as well

Do you have it set to wake on mouse or keyboard activity? Do you have a cat who might be exploring your desk at night?

So I changed the settings for the mouse and I got to wait until tonight to test it out I'll let you know first thing tomorrow and no cats lol It only happens at night at a certain time

Maybe a change in ambient lighting was affecting the mouse sensor.
