Title speaks for itself. I built a computer a little over a year ago and a couple of weeks ago I was running FIFA and my computer froze and then shut off. When I turned it back on the computer turned on but no image and then shut itself off and turned itself on against and repeated the same pattern but never showing a boot imagine etc. I just replaced the power supply today hoping that was the problem but it wasn't. Only other thing I can think of is the MOBO which is a Z87-G41 PC Mate running an Intel i5 processor with a 2TB hdd, 8GB of ram, an eVga GeForce gtx760 and an h110i liquid cooling.

Anyone second that it is the motherboard? Power supply is brand new it's an EVGA supernova 750B2

Solution

Try to remove the power header and reset header ,test would be better none test. That situation like the case power button or reset button dead.I have that situation before.

PS.if that is your broke psu ,your pc only would shut itself off and were not turned itself.
"shut itself off and turned itself on against and repeated the same pattern",it seems the case power button is dead ,try to remove the power header and reset header ,try to use metal to touch the mobo power pin ,maybe it would work.
