Computer turns on, but no display

Computer is turning on, but the display does no boot up. There is a clicking noise coming from my internal speaker (every 10 seconds if that means anything ?) thought at first it was the GPU and HDD but after disconnecting both, the problem is still occuring. HELP !!!!!

Possibly a short on your motherboard. Try removing the battery from the MoBo and clearing CMOS. Make sure everything is clean and all power connections secure.

got the new battery and installed it but the problem is sill happening :/ anyone have any other suggestions or clues what might be happening ??

What are the details of your system as well as its age? Are any parts still under warranty?

COMPUTER IS JUST AROUND 2 YEARS OLD NOW

CPU = AMD FX-4100 w/ stock cooker
MOTHERBOARD = gigabyte 78lmt-usb3
GPU = Sapphire HD7850-2gb
RAM = 8GB (no brand on chip)
PSU = 450 watt

i bought the computer pre-built. It had a HD5450 in it but i upgraded that since then, but had no problems with the 7850. The only thing that i believe is still in warranty is the GPU? everything else expired around a year ago.
