[SOLVED] Computer turns on, but no signal on the monitor

While installing a game, I pressed the power button on accident and the system turned off.

Now when I start it, the computer turns on (system fans, cpu cooler, psu, gpu fans, keyboard lights), but the monitor doesn't receive a signal (No Signal message).

CPU is i7-4790k, mobo is GA-Z97-HD3, GPU is Nvidia GTX 1060, RAM is DDR3 CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10, PSU is EVGA 750 GQ Gold

There is no SPEAKER cable coming from the case to enable bleep troubleshooting for the RAM

What I have tried/determined:

  • ■ Plugging the HDMI from the monitor to my laptop, monitor works perfectly fine, the HDMI cable/monitor presumably work fine
    ■ Using DVI instead of HDMI, same result (system boots, no signal)
    ■ Removing RAM/GPU temporarily, then re-inserting, same result (system boots, no signal)
    ■ Resetting CMOS by removing the battery and waiting a minute before re-inserting, same result (system boots, no signal)
    ■ Resetting CMOS by shorting the CLR_CMOS pins, same result (system boots, no signal)
    ■ Removing the GPU and plugging the HDMI to the motherboard's IO, using the CPU's integrated graphics, same result (system boots, no signal)
    ■ Unplugging all the case's Front Panel connections to the motherboard, and using a screwdriver to jump start the system without the use of a power button, same result (system boots, no signal)
    ■ Unplugging absolutely every connection to the motherboard, except 24-pin and 2x4-pin and CPU cooler, removing GPU and SATA, using integrated GPU, jump starting without power button, same result (system boots, no signal)
    ■ Unplugging absolutely every connection to the motherboard, except 24-pin and 2x4-pin and CPU cooler, removing GPU and SATA and RAM, using integrated GPU, jump starting without power button, system boots, but then shuts off and restarts, over and over, no signal
    ■ Unplugging absolutely every connection to the motherboard, except 24-pin and 2x4-pin and CPU cooler and GPU, removing SATA and RAM, jump starting without power button, system boots, but then shuts off and restarts, over and over, no signal

Any ideas as to what it could be?

you can make a speaker for testing: speaker making 101

canned diagnostic speaker rant
The diagnostic speaker is the motherboards main diagnostic feedback device.
the motherboard may be telling you where the problem is.
my speakers have this plug

I use lamp wire but any stranded wire will do. literally any stranded wires. strip one end like so
http://www.antiquelampco.com/Shades/CordColors.jpg
attach the stripped end into the speaker spring clips on the speaker.
the other end of the wire should be trimmed like so the semi strip

by doing a semi strip the wire case is now the socket.
plug one wire to the...

plug one wire to the first pin, and the second onto the fourth pin.
power on the system and listen for beeps
end canned rant

when the speaker is connected to the front panel connector, try to force a beep code.
motherboard with CPU and cooling with power and keyboard connected. boot without the RAM the motherboard will scream in pain (in the form of beeps). if you cannot force a beep code it is my experience that the motherboard is a brick.
