Few days back, my computer displayed bsod having message 'video tdr failure' while playing a game. The game was minecraft which is not a heavy game.I play it without any shaders or texture packs so it couldn't be case that I overclocked it or used it for intense gaming. Then the computer restarted automatically and worked fine for a few hours. But then suddenly while playing, the screen froze with some blue pattern on it and I had to turn off the main power switch to turn it off. After this, the problems started increasing.Whenever I played a game, the screen froze while displaying some pattern on it or the computer automatically turned off and did not turn back on again.I searched online for the problem and found out that my graphic card may be the problem.I tried updating the drivers but they were already up to date. Then i uninstalled the graphic card drivers and tried to manually update them. But when I searched hidden devices in device manager and clicked on properties, it displayed an error code 43 (i don't remember the message with it) and I wasn't able to update it manually. The installer displayed an error saying that it couldn't find compatible hardware. My computer didn't recognize the gpu after that and started displaying blue vertical lines on the monitor. The display resolution also dropped.I opened my cabinet afrer that and reseated the gpu into the slot thinking that i may be connection issue. Then when I tried booting my pc, it kept turning on and off(fans started spinning for 3-4 secs and then turned off) without any display on the screen. Then I tried pulling the gpu and then the pc started(pulling may have disconnected it somehow). Now I am pretty sure that the gpu is the issue. But can it also be the psu?Do i need to state the specs of my pc?
