I have recently replaced my motherboard (accidently bent my CPU pins).

I have put in my replacement motherboard (different model). Now my computer only turns on for 1 second and shuts off. I have unplugged everything from my computer, (ram, hdd's, everything).... The problem is still happening. I don't think this is a PSU problem as my computer worked perfectly fine before replacing the motherboard (before I bent my CPU pins)

Any other suggestions to try? I have replaced my CMOS battery aswell.

Thanks

You have 2 choices at this point, at least these are 2 most likely scenarios. Motherboards quality control are often suspect. So it is likely either the motherboard or PSU. PSU failures often behave like the the symptom you are describing.
