Computer turns on off and on again

when ever i press the power buttin the computer will turn on and off and turn back on again forever how do i fix

is the button sticking? the button is momentary it should not stay depressed.

a constant reboot loop, nothing on screen just reboot, rinse, repeat?

this is the no boot sticky. its worth a look.

what are the specs of your system? its hard to be specific without specifics.

my specs are i5 8400,evega 600w bronze psu,Gigabyte B360M DS3H,no dedicated gpu yet and a dominator case the button is not sticky all i do is click and then the lights and power are sent into some sort of loop it goes on and off this only happens when using the power button and its a new motherboard

only happens when you use the power button? what happens when you unhook the power switch and trigger the power pins (front panel connector) with a screwdriver?

When I did it with a screwdriver it still went into a loop
