Computer turns on when keyboard space bar is pressed?!

Just built this system the other day. When I click shutdown the computer turns off, however when I press the space-bar on my keyboard the computer turns on like it was asleep or something. Very weird. I have turned off the ability for it to sleep in the power options. I do not understand how this is happening, is this normal??

Windows 8.1
i7-4930k
Asus Rampage IV- Black Edition
GTX 780Ti

it is set to be wake up by the keyboard and mouse so you have to uncheck this .

Look in your BIOS settings. Mine has a setting that can turn itself on with a double click or a keyboard phrase like POWER. If you don't like them you can disable them in there.

My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V LK. Where in the BIOS would I turn it off. For me, when I click my mouse, the PC turns on.

My PC is not going to sleep, it is shut down from Windows
