i was just using my pc as usually earlier and i just decided to restart it, when i did it could not detect a boot device yadayadayada i reinstalled my os. Now even with all my drivers installed and everything its super slow. Programs take forever to open etc. Games run fine once i load in but i get a lot of stuttering the to even load into a game... is a nightmare. I tested hitman 2016 and the witcher 3 both took over 10 minutes just to load a game and rainbow six seige was loading forever to the point were i got a memory leak and it cause my fucking computer to crash its unbearable. I have an i7 4770k, 2 980 tis in sli, and 16gb ram. My pc was totally fine before this what the hell is the issue. I can barely use it now

I have a 120gb ssd with my os on it and a few other programs everything else is on my 2tb hard drive
i also just tried csgo, game loaded fine and played with not much issues but had a bit of stuttering and fps hovered in the 150s while before it was in the high 200s
but i also noticed that random apps built into windows are crashing and no game on steam the steam overlay is working. this is extremely frustrating because I use this pc for everything

no games are on my ssd and its only a 120 gb i dont have much room. now im also discovering that some apps built into windows that im trying to launch just instantly crash. But atm im on the old win 10 before the anniversary edition im gona upgrade to that and see if things persist. but its taking a LONG time

The HDD might be dying and slowing the SSD in the process. I would suggest that you backup all your data while you still can.
For now download harddisksentinel or crystaldisk and check the smart data and health of the both the disks. The HDD should be more of a concern i beleive.

i tested with crystaldisk and all of my drives seem to be doing fine. Could it be like a corrupt windows install? ive had this install disk for awhile should i just make a new one and do a fresh reformat?
