This graphic card already had some problems in the past, but since a few weeks ago the computer uninstalled it and now I can't reinstall it back since it doesn't find the GPU.

I tried to do a system recover, tried to use the CD setup, tried to delete and reinstall the drivers, kinda tried to reset the BIOS, tried to find it in the Device Manager. Nothing worked.

Right now I'm using the onboard one, because that's the one it set to me.

No, it does not appear on the Device Manager.
And instead of "Display Adapters" there is a "Other devices" section, with a "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" on it. I'm not sure what it is.

The actual Adapter seems to be the "VGAsave".

Hm, I don't think I have another slot available, so I won't be able to try this.
Are there any other possible reasons?

To assume it is dead seems like a last resort.
Also, edited some info about the PC in the first post (yea, it's an old PC).

After downloading around five drivers updaters one of them found out that some files were corrupted.
Upon fixing and updating such files the VGAsave thing was substituted by a "Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family". I'm not sure what this is but it is working perfectly now.

So, Issue solved.
