I have a cheap "gaming" Computer at the moment and I was thinking about upgrading. My specs are:
AMD A-10 5800k
A78M-E35 Motherboard
8gb@1600 RAM
Cougar Spike Case
1 TB Hard Drive
550W Power Supply
R7 260X

I was recently rendering something I made in Adobe After Effects that included 3D animation, and it took well over an hour. I would like to see better performance. I was planning on getting an
FX 8350
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+
A Roswell Challenger ATX case
I have a budget of 400 dollars but I would like to spend as little as possible. I was going to take my RAM, PSU, GPU, and HDD from my old computer to put into the old one. Any input on this would be great:)

BTW, I was thinking on getting an i7 processor, but that was too expensive, and I have yet to find a rendering benchmark so I don't know what the improvement will be.

Mobo choice is good. But I would recommend a different case. There is no extra space for cabling in the Roswill Challenger, I had one once. It was ok. Coolermaster The Haf 912 is wider with separated space for your cabling...

Holy Crap! That is a great improvement! What do you think about my Motherboard choice? Is there another one you recommend that is AM3+
