[SOLVED] Computer us taking forever to restart. What should i do?

I restarted my computer since windows told me I had to do so in order to update. It's been sitting for over an hour now and seems to be stuck on the "restarting computer screen". Normally I would just shut it off and start it up again, but since it was updating I don't want to risk that. I didn't pay attention to if the update is already installed or if its going to start installing soon, all I see right now is the text "restarting computer" and a loading symbol. Is this unusual, or should I just wait a bit longer? One more thing is that windows usually gives you the options: "update and shut off" and "update and reatart", but this time I only got the option to restart and update. I don't know if this has to do with anything, but I think it is worth mentioning.

I would turn it off and restart PC. If its not going to work it should roll back the update on startup
