Sorry if I put this in the wrong category.
I spend my winters in Zambia and this year was hoping to bring my desktop computer and a monitor to work on some video editing projects (laptop doesn't have enough guts to edit) but it is an expensive desktop and thus i'm worried about power. Zambia has 220V with a Euro plug. I was planning on buying an U.S. uninterruptable power supply to use in the states and abroad (APC Back-UPS 450, for example). Thus my question, can I use this UPS with a plug adapter and not fry my computer?? One can plug a laptop into the wall with just a plug adapter in Zambia, but not sure about desktops. Thanks!!
