Computer using APU rather then dedicated GPU

Hello,

Having issues with an APU. Games believes that the R9 380 is in use, however it is not getting warm. Also experiencing bad FPS in games so it must be using the APU.

Any help is appreciated.

If the monitor is plugged into the gfx card, it has to be using the gfx card. The only way it could be using the iGP would be if the monitor was plugged into the motherboard video port.
