Hi guys,
My computer is using 4 gigs of ram , not running any programs (excluding background processes) and on task manager the memory doesnt add up.
I checked this forum , but I couldnt find any good solutions
Specs

12 gbs ram dd3
64 gb ssd
windows 10 64 bit

Is this a new install? If new, its probably System & Compressed Memory doing its job... its sorting your files you use the most for fast boot, it settles down after a few days

Did you look at Performance Monitors Ram tab and see what it shows?
[open task manager, Performance tab,. click memory picture, look at bottom of the window for Performance Monitor]

How many programs load at start up?

Unless it gets in the way of doing things, why worry? Ram not being used is wasted ram, Windows 10 treats ram differently to previous versions: http://lifehacker.com/why-is-windows-10s-system-process-using-so-much-ram-1725076206
