Hey,
For the past month or so my computer has been vibrating and making noise when under low usage ( i.e. startup, netflix, and just having the PC idle ).
The vibration/sound usually disappears once I start "using" my PC ( i.e. running programs and playing games )
At first I thought it was one of the fans making a lot of noise or the HDD moving around but that does not seem to be the case.
I tightened almost every screw I could find in the PC but the vibrating continues.

Solution
Try opening up your system and jiggling the fans and drives if they do move a little you may want to tighten them down again. Also make sure you cpu heat sink is still tight and that the gpu is fully locked in and screwed down. If i disappears under load drives and any fan thaty ramps up while in use would be where I would look first also make sure your psu is still tight in the mounting.

Nope, optical drive is empty.
Even unplugged my optical drive from the PSU and the Sata cable yet the sound continued.

What do you mean ?

When you touch the case, does the noise/vibration go away?

No
