I was playing Payday with my GTX 970 when I decided to alt-tab and watch a video. I immediately noticed that my screen was blurry. I decided to reset the resolution by applying changes and then going back to 1080p. Once I lowered it, however, my video completely shut off. I tried turning my computer off and on, and I still don't get video. I reset it numerous times, and I found that my video was occasionally turning on for my 60Hz monitor, but was still off for my 144Hz monitor. Even though the video was on for my 60Hz monitor, my entire OS would lag and run extremely slow and choppy. I did a system restore, and nothing changed with my performance. I swapped video cards, and still nothing changed. I removed the battery from the motherboard to reset the BIOS and still nothing has changed.

I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my video. Please help.

EDIT: After resetting the BIOS, I turned on my computer and I had video. I replaced my HDMI cable with my display port and the video turned off. Now, I get no video when I restart my computer regardless of whether I'm using an hdmi cable or a display port.

EDIT: I just reformated my OS and now I get the blue screen of death whenever I start up Windows.

Hello... After a restart into Windows... Connect to all your Video card Connectors for a display signal... It could be your primary and secondary Displays have got switched in the Windows software... Not all the Video Card Connectors will be active once Windows BOOTs. Also verify your monitor is set for the Cable that is used.

I just tried this. It still is not showing display. I'm not even getting a BIOS page. I just rebooted Windows 3 times and I'm still getting the same problem, so Windows doesn't seem to be the problem.
