Hello, tonight I was moving a glass of water which was nearly empty and I was by my pc, I dropped the cup and I believe some of the water got in through the top fan even if it was a small amount. As this was the first time I did some thing like it I instantly cleaned it up and tried turning on my pc, normally when it boots up it makes a quick beep sound, when I turned it on it made a long and loud beep sound, I wouldn't say it's drenched and for now I'm just going to let it sit and dry, also when it boots up, my computer will turn on sometimes, but it the monitor doesn't seem to respond. If anybody has any suggestions or tricks that would help, please answer.

Solution
The short beep is the "its all cool" beep, meaning everything is okay. Beep codes can vary by BIOS, but one long beep is usualy a memory error. The water pronbably hit a stick of RAM. I reccomend testing them when you get the chyance

Thank you all for posting helpful ways to fix this, after I made this post last night I went to sleep. Now this morning I believe everything dried out. It can turn on fine with a short beep and the monitor responds, Windows instantly scanned my disc and ran an automatic repair. As of this moment my monitor, mouse, and headset all respond and weren't harmed, once again, thank you all!
