hey i just built a new computer and there is some lag. It doesn't do it all the time, but it will temporarily freeze every now and then and it only seems to be when i have youtube on loud or i am playing a video game (diablo 3 and sc2). If i have music on it usually has this scrambly noise and go right back to the song and works fine again. I am looking for a solution to this problem if anyone can help. here is my computer parts:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus 76.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card
Case: Rosewill DESTROYER ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: LG GH22NS90B DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit)

it works fine other than that temporary freeze (which at most lasts for a second)

i would first start and make sure your mb bios is up to date a lot of the x68 and z77 have updates for cpu and ram. i would use cpu-z and look at the spd tab and see what the speed of the memory is under it jtag. (xmp profile) then see that the mb is set for the xpm profile and is set the ram speed and voltage right. i then go to intel web page and download the newest chipset drivers. i would also download the newest flash and java. be carfull both there download pages are buggy make sure your downloading the 64bit software not the 32 bit. i would then download the newest soundcard and video drivers for your mb and vidoe card.
