I am trying to install an OS from a CD to a new hard drive. I have set BIOS to boot from CD first. All I get is:
1962: No operating system found. Press F1 to repeat boot sequence. This is on a Lenovo ThinkCentre computer.

Did you make sure that the files on the CD are readable? Make sure they are NOT zipped and they are all out there, and it isn't detecting something else. Keep everything the way it is, I would just suggest making sure the computer can read it.

If nothing is zipped, then I don't know what to tell you. Sorry!

The CD is Debian 7.8 which I'm trying to install on a new hard drive. It boots when I put it in another computer.
