[SOLVED] Computer Will Not Boot

Motherboard--Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
CPU---- AMD
Help me if you can as I do not understand any of this and at 72 years it is difficult to wrap my head around. I do not know what happened, turned it on and I had this blue screen and it has not worked since. I have changed the battery and reset the CMOS, am I pounding sand down a rat hole here or should I go get another used machine.

I get several messages, DISK BOOT FAILURE is one and I have a picture of my monitor. My HDD western digital has been cleaned/erased is blank nothing on it'

Solution
That might mean that the boot drive has broken or the SATA power/data cable might be loose. You should first check if the cables are not loose. If the cables are fine try booting from a USB-drive (I would recommend installing Linux on the USB drive since Windows keys are expensive as hell) and see if it works. If not it's probably something else that is causing the error. But then again I'm no expert.

well some hope, I found thid thing called diskpart and now am formatting the hard drive using a usb hopefully once formatted I will install XP so I can play my Flight Games from microsoft got a lot invested.
