Computer will not install programs

Hi,

I am getting a message saying another installation is in progress every time i am trying to install programs on my computer. I have tried ending installations in the processes menu however there is nothing there. I'm using windows 10. For some programs the code comes up as error 1618.

Not sure what the problem is, any help would be appreciated!

Hi,, yeah i have tried that but unfortunately didnt solve the error.
