Hello everyone,
I posted a thread a few days ago about my computer not being able to post and how a BIOS update fixed it. Well, it only fixed it that one time and I am back to the original problem. I would link it but I can't find it on mobile, but basically the computer won't post, fans spin but nothing is displayed on screen, and taking out or adding a stick of ram fixes the problem temporarily.
I just plugged in a motherboard speaker and when the computer will not boot, I hear a slight chirp that repeats every second or so. It sounds like it is trying to beep, but can't for some reason, its hard to explain. I know the speaker works because I have booted successfully with it before and it makes a very loud distinctive beep.
I feel like this problem would be my motherboard or PSU but I don't understand how changing the amount of ram lets it boot just fine every time.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
