Computer will not start

Hello everyone, I was installing my new motherboard just now. Everything was running except the gpu. I decided to try another plug into the GPU and once it got plugged in, everything shut down and will not turn on again. What is the source of my problem?
PSU: 430W
GPU: AMD HD Radeon 7770
CPU: AMD FX 8350
2 sticks of Kingston ram
1 tb hard drive

UPDATE: Now everything but the GPU is on and when I try to plug in my monitor and things they do not worm. Computer is also being significantly louder
Mobo: as rock extreme 3 970 ( that's what I was adding)
