Hi i have a problem that my pc sometimes when i push the power button it wont start but then after many tries it does start... I even tried to use the reset button and even the screwdriver trick...and i am not sure where the problem is coming from and i need help PLEASE

Full system specs, including PSU make and model (or part number) is? Also, how old the PSU is, and was the PSU bought new or used/refurbished?
The psu is corsair 850w and i had it for quite sometime as for cpu its ryzen 5700g and the mobo is the gigabyte b450 elite and rx 7900xtx card

The psu is corsair 850w
I ask again;
PSU make and model (or part number) is?
Since just saying Corsair 850W doesn't tell me anything.

E.g i have Seasonic 650W, but can you tell me which one i have specifically? 🤔

i had it for quite sometime
This is vague. "Quite some time" is what? 2 weeks? 3 months? 5 years?
Also, was the PSU bought new or used/refurbished.

Without you telling us specific info, critical for the issue you're having, no-one can help you. So, be precise with the info.

I suspect you need to replace your PSU but it would be better first to inspect your ATX power cabling, are these all rooted properly in their sockets? Also check the front panel wiring on your motherboard, is it resting firmly on the pins or is it shortening, exposed wire touching another expose wire?

Have you checked the power button on your case? Does the button feel as it should mechanically when you press the button to boot up your PC?

I recently had an issue with my Enermax Platinum 1050W PSU, I was getting a loud crackling sound, at first I thought it was the pump on my 4 year old AIO. So I replaced the AIO, nope it wasn't that. Then after many discussions on other PC forums, somebody suggested, it could be the chipset fan on my X570 motherboard, so I got a replacement chipset fan from eBay. £35 for a small tiny plastic fan, outrageous, nope it wasn't that.
So everything finally pointed to Enermax PSU. I replaced it with a quality EVGA PSU and the problem disappeared.

Best to do the due diligence first, check the wiring inside your case, check for any foreign objects like a loose screw inside your case, then when you have done your sanity checks and mitigated the other possibilities, move on to the PSU.

Either you didn't read all what OP said, or you don't know what screwdriver trick is. So, which one is it? 🤔

In which shape, way or form, does your issue relate to OP's issue? Whereby there is reason why to share your story? What we have here, are two completely different PSUs, two completely different PCs, two completely different symptoms.

I have no idea what screwdriver trick is, please enlighten me.

I had been away from the PC scheme possibly five years, maybe less. I decided to follow my passion for HiFi and everything audio and only recently, I just put together my new rig. Build around Ryzen 7800X3D. This had re-ignited my interest, so I thought I join the forum on Tom's HW, a good place to start. Hopefully by exchanging ideas with others, I can pick up a few things I may have forgotten.

I think you're being somewhat pedantic, I was merely sharing.... :) but thank you for putting me straight.

It is simple way to rule out power button issues.

Idea is to remove front I/O cables from MoBo and then to short PWR + and - pins on MoBo with screwdriver tip. It bridges the two pins and acts exactly like pushing a power button on PC case.

Video describing and showcasing on how to do it:

Screwdriver trick can also be used when breadboarding the MoBo prior of installing it into PC case.

Sharing a story that doesn't help OP isn't constructive. It would only clog up the topic.
Now, you may mention that you've experienced similar issue, but going in-depth of what, how and when, doesn't help OP, since they have different hardware with different symptoms.
