Hello everyone!

My friend recently gave me his old gaming desktop, he wasn't sure if it worked or not. I booted it up today, launched Marvel Rivals and I was able to play completely fine. Once I selected Start Streaming from OBS, the game loads for about 2 seconds, the computer crashes and the graphic card starts yelling. I am not certain but it appears the temperatures are okay, the highest being 72c on one of the cores.

I went to the event viewer and got this after the crash:

Event ID 41: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed or lost power unexpectedly."

If there is any additional info needed, please let me know. Thanks!

You're sure you didn't mean to mention an i7-9700K?

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time: It says it was built in 2023 but I dont believe it was used that often.

Below is the system info, maybe this will have info needed:

Also check your reliability monitor by simply searching for it after pressing the windows key. Look for hardware errors and such, as they point you somewhat into a direction. In the windows event viewer you will most likely find more information though. Same principle as to how to open it.

It also seems like this might be an issue with Marvel Rivals, I loaded up two other games and it seem to run fine.

So maybe the computer is over-heating with Marvel Rivals?

Edit: So it just appears to be Marvel Rivals that is the issue. I can play for half a game, then it either crashes the game or shuts the computer off.
