Computer won’t beep

My cpu was in the socket and closed, but it won’t beep. This problem arose when I took out my cpu and put it back in, the pins are not bent and I did not drop it, but I do see a pin missing in the socket. Could this be the problem???

My specifications are:
AMD FX 4300
MSI 760GMA
12 GB Ram
Radeon R9 270
EVGA 500 WATT PSU

The problem is obviously the cpu.

I had no mounting bracket on my cpu, I took it out to examine, put the mounting bracket on. (note my computer was working with the same hardware I am using right now) I had bent pins, I unbent them on put it in the motherboard and turned it on, all the fans spun but there was no beep. My cpu got hot though, so I am not sure if my motherboard is broken or if my cpu is because when I took out my cpu there was no beep and same with the rest of the components, can anyone help me?
Specifications: MSI 760GMA, 12 GB ram, AMD FX 4300, Radeon R9 270.
I think the cpu is most likely broken, but I could be wrong.

I took my cpu out and it was working, then I put in the mounting bracket so I could stand my computer up since I did not have one at his time. Then I put the cpu, mounting bracket in and I turned the computer on. It did not beep, so I checked the cpu and it just came straight out. It had bent pins, I straightened them out as none of them were broke. Put it in the socket tried to close the notch, but the cpu wouldn’t stay in. Can anyone tell me why? I put it in the correct way. My cpu is an Amd Fx- 4300

Once it was put in incorrectly, and pins bent, it could take forever to get the pins on the processor perfectly straight and located to where they need to be accurate to with in .01 mm, and, damage to motherboard socket can easily occur if a cpu is locked down in the wrong orientation...

Inspect motherboard socket closely, but this might not end well...

MIght be time to start pricing out DDR4/ R5-2400G solutions...
