Computer won’t boot past BIOS

So the other day my computer wouldn’t connect to the internet so I turned it off and back on again as you do and it’s just stuck on the BIOS, it won’t boot to windows and whatever buttons I press on the keyboard nothing happens in the BIOS... I think maybe something’s broken in the motherboard since it doesn’t respond to the keyboard but I honestly have no idea

could you acces bios if not check if the led on the board receive power when psu in on .

There aren’t any leds on the board and no keys on the keyboard show any response on screen

if the psu is on power and motherboard led does not lit recheck board connector from psu and try to use another psu for test in system also did you check sata cable to hdd and do you have a os on it .

Ssd has windows on it and I haven’t touched the cable so I think that’s fine (ssd might have died tho?), it could be the board connector on the psu but that hasn’t been touched in ages either but I can test that on Wednesday and the motherboard doesn’t have any leds on it

try to use another sata cable from ssd to motherboard and if it goes in bios does it detect the ssd there .

Tried a different cable same results, keyboard still unresponsive and bios screen stuck on

try cmos battery reset and how old is the system .

Bought the system in 2013, upgraded nearly everything tho and I have no idea how to reset that

check on your motherboard user manual how to do it .

Mate you are a god thank you so much, I took the cmos battery out for 1 minute then put it back in and booted and everything worked

i would do a bios virus scan in case it got corrupted .
