Computer won’t boot

Computer I built 6 months ago will not boot. The motherboard blames the CPU. So I replaced the CPU. Got same result - will not boot. So I replaced the motherboard. Again got same result - will not boot and motherboard says it’s ths CPU. Do you have any suggestions?

The mobo / Kaby Lake isn't compatible with the CPU which is Coffee Lake. Thats why it wont work

You'll have to replace the mobo with a Coffee Lake or replace the CPU with a Kaby Lake CPU

7th and 8 gen mobos and CPU's arent compatible with each other

Wow - it worked just fine for 6 months. Hate I missed that incompatibility; must have failed on my research.

My bad - I was looking at the wrong pick list. The cpu is an i5 7500

It's ok, then. Try different power supply, if possible.
