Question Computer won’t display on monitor

Hello, my cousin had a computer with a gpu that has integrated graphics. I was going wipe his hard drive and reinstall Windows for him but when we unplugged it from his home and plugged it In at my place it won’t display on my monitor, tried it back at his place and it still won’t. Does anyone know what is happening, I’m more familiar with dedicated graphic cards.

so you connecting to the gpu or the igpu?

did you test the igpu before you move it.
what happened to the gpu?
full system spec?

If you are using DisplayPort sometimes it doesn't work until you update the drivers to the Graphics card, which if you did wipe the computer would probably happen. Try HDMI if you haven't already.

I just realized I put gpu instead of a cpu with integrated graphics, I’m sorry guys.
