When I install the driver of my video card. It was checking system compatibility and then NVIDIA INSTALLER cannot continue. The NVIDIA GRAPHICS driver is not compatible with this version of windows. Help please
One question, GTX1000 series only works with DVI - D, it doesn't work with standard dvi to vga adapter (the one bundled with older GPU's). Just in case, are you using that kind of adapter? If that the case you should get an active dvi to vga adapter, or consider using a digital connection as displayport, dvi-d or hdmi.
Ok, there in another way to install, not recommended, but it should work. You don't have anything to lose:
- uncompress the .exe from nvidia (you can use 7zip, winrar, etc). There should be a folder where all the .inf files are located.
- go to the "Display adapter Microsoft basic Display Adapter" and go to Driver Tab > Update Driver > Search driver in folder > and select the folder where you uncompressed the driver.
reboot and try again. Check if there is a Display Adapter under Device Manager.

It should find the correct one and install

Windows found driver software for your device but encoutered an error while attempting to install it.
Yup it's glowing red probably that's the led and i`m using the gpu's dvi to connect my monitor. I see some issues with the 1000 series of nvidia with windows that are not currently updated. My windows is build Version 10.0 (Build 10240).
