I recently got a large fan to put inside my case to improve airflow. Everything went well up until I attempted to power on the PC. The lights on my case, mobo, and GPU all flashed on but there was no post. Keep in mind everything was working fine prior to the installation. Im at my wits end so any help would be appreciated.

My build
  • Gigabyte AB350N gaming wifi AM4
  • Ryzen 5 1600
  • 16gb Corsair Vengence LPX ram
  • Zotac GTX 1070ti
  • Corsair CX550 semi-modular PSU
  • WD 1tb HDD
-WD 250gb SSD m.2
- EVGA 240mm Water cooler

Thank you for your help.

Hi.

I am going to assume that you have accidentally knocked something.

Firstly, I would try removing what you have installed with all cables which you have added.

If there is still no post. I would then ensure that all cables are correctly plugged in such as CPU power also ensuring that it is plugged in corretly to the PSU.

Thankyou for your response. Actually what happened was I knicked the psu cable connected to my HDD. Tightened a screw right on top of it :p . turned on as soon as I removed the cable. Luckily, i have a spare.
