Computer won't boot after put to sleep

I don't know if this post belongs here but please, I need your help.

Hi, I recently built my first computer, and have almost had it for a month now, and I love it, but I might have done something stupid. I turned my computers sleep mode on in windows 8 and it crashed without any error or message. It just turned itself off. When I tried to boot it up again, i heared a clicking noise( probably the stock cpu cooler from Intel. Still waiting for my water cooling kit), the fans started spinning for half a second, but then nothing happened. Is this a known problem? If so, is it easy to fix?

I tried clearing the Cmos a few times, removed gpu, put the RAM in different slots, unplugged all peripherals, but still the same problem. I can't even get something on my display. The problem is, I don't have any spare computer parts just laying around, so I can't really check whats the problem.

I use my computer a lot, so I hope for some quick responses

In English, "putting something to sleep" is an euphemism for killing something. On that basis it does not surprise me that your computer won't resurrect.

On a more serious note, do you still hear the "click" of you try to ower on your computer?
Are there any LEDs lighting up on the motherboard?
This is a weird thing, but unplug your computer from the wall. leave it unplugged for 20 minutes and plug it back in. See if that changes anything.

That "click" sound worries me. If the fans don't spin back up, check if your PSU has a fuse or something that might have gone.

THere is also a trick, called the paperclip trick to force a PSU to "On". Disconnect everything from the PSU - including the motherboard CPU and disks. EVERYTHING. . Use a Molex connector and connect 1 case fan to the PSU. Then use the paperclip trick to force the PSU to on. See if the fan spins.

If the fan spins, use a voltmeter and measure the voltages on all the connections for the PSU. It's a PITA, and much easier if you have a PSU tester, but I suspect you don't have one. Make sure the SPU is delivering correct voltages on all the connections you need.

Report back, we'll go from there.

I'm sorry that my english isn't as great as yours. I will see if I the steps you mentioned work, but I am going to take a little rest from it now. I have been working with it for several hours. It might be a fuse from the PSU, as you mentioned, but I am quite sure I have heard that "click" sound every time I boot my computer. By "ower on" I think you meant "power on", and thats when I hear the clicking noise. All the LED's light up like they are supposed to, but my Q-code LED's don't display anything. Something else quite unusual, my USB ports don't provide power to my peripherals anymore, so I can't use my keyboard to try wake it up (I thought it could be stuck in sleep mode).

I'll check voltages, ect. later. Thanks for a quick response.
