Hi,

The title states the problem, here is additional information:
  • Computer is an Acer V3-371
  • Storage is SSD drive
  • I did not install any new software recently
  • What happened up to the moment, when the error started occuring: the laptop was working fine, i closed the lid (making it go to standby) and ate. 30 minutes later, i reopen lid and it is incredibly slow. I manage to type 1 character of my password before losing patience and forcing shutdown. When rebooting, it could not get past manufacturer screen.
  • I do not hear any fans spinning (which i usually think i do? I am not 100% sure)
  • I can go into bios. Don't know what to do there though
  • After rebooting 9 times or so, it started automatic repairs. It is now stuck in "Scanning and repairing drive (C:". It goes to 49% and then starts over.
I have a suspicion that the drive just out of nowhere died but i am no expert.
What are my options? Any help is greatly appreciated.
