Question computer wont boot to windows after upgrade

i upgraded to cpu and motherboard to a i5-12600k and a ddr4 msi z690-a pro and the computer keeps booting to bios and wont boot to windows, i have tried many different things like change the boot, have just the m.2 with the windows installation on, trying to get a fresh windows on a different drive but it keeps saying it failed to ether format or install on drive, the repair wont work ether, i updated the bios but not the drivers yet, taking the battery out of the motherboard, just booting from the cpu and im going to try to update the drivers or try a windows 11 installation.
if any suggestions on what to do it would be greatly appreciated

did you type in the wrong cpu or motherboard?
