Question Computer won't boot up when CPU is powered on Asus Sabertooth x79 - where can i buy new mosfet chips?

I have an Asus sabertooth x79 motherboard and some i7 32xx chip.
It won't fire up when cpu is plugged in, but as soon as I unplug the cpu power all the fans will start up.
I saw a video where someone repaired a mobo by swapping out a mosfet chip on it to solve this very issue.
Question is, where do i find a replacement components?

Inspect the CPU socket for any bent or broken pins. You forgot to mention the sort of chips you're working with. Also, are you referring to LGA 2011 i7-3800 series of processors? Might want to include a video of what you're going through.

including the age of the PSU, apart from it's make and model.

I'm having the exact same issue. Fans will spin for ~1s then shuts off. Fans spin up fully if the CPU power isn't plugged in, but shuts off as soon as I plug it in.

i7-6900k
Sabertooth x79
Patriot G2 4x8gb
Kingston 512gb ssd
GTX 970 x2
Thermaltake 700W (also tried evga 700br with same results)
