Computer wont boot with Ram sticks

I have an HP Desktop that came with 5GB of Ram installed(two 2GB sticks one 1GB stick), early today i was cleaning out my computer and wanted to clean the dust from around the RAM sticks, I took all three of them out and now the computer wont boot with the two 2GBs sticks in. It will only boot with one 2GB and the one 1GB stick giving me only 3GB of RAM, if i try to boot with both 2GB sticks in the computer makes one short beep and one long beep and wont boot. It doesnt matter what slot they are in, as long as both 2GB sticks arent in it will boot, if they are both in it doesnt. Any help is appreciated.

Make sure you are putting them in the right way, and that you hear a little click when you push them in. Otherwise, you might have broken your RAM is you were too rough when cleaning :/
