When I try installing my strix gaming GeForce gtx 1080 11gps gddr5x into my strix z270e gaming motherboard, my computer won't boot up. No fans run just all the led's. The gpu lights up and 2 out of the 3 fans are running. Once I disconnect the gpu, the computer will boot up into windows. Does anyone know the problem to why?

You don't need more wattage the 12v rail on the g3 600 can easily handle that load, but just for future reference, the g3 series is pretty bad and way too expensive, i'm 99% sure that it's not your psu failing.
Try these steps instead, if this doesn't work i would try to rma the gpu.
1. Reset CMOS
2. Install Drivers(boot up with your igpu and install the correct drivers for the gpu from nvidia's website)
3. If none of the above work, the last step is updating your bios, this is not difficult to do, just take your time and don't rush the installation.
4. If you know anyone with a computer that can handle the 1080ti, then try your gpu their computer and see if that works
5. If none of the above give any results, rma the gpu.
