I have an old pc from like 2009 or something its one of the dell inspirons with a 500GB hard drive and i3 4170- anyway.
I have tried reviving this old computer for a while but have been stuck on a problem. Whenever the computer has any power theres a red light on the motherboard. Also, as soon as i try to boot the computer, the cpu fan only spins for half a second and then stops. I have tried taking out the cpu and putting it back in.
The computer origianlly broke because it somehow just lost its OS but it was still on the harddrive (i didnt know why it broke at that time). The current problem has appeared only when i tried going to revive it- but obviously when i get across this ill still have to figure that out as well.
