so i would get problems with my computer when it would go into sleep mode i couldnt get it out of sleep mode the mouse or keyboard would not respond while pressing keys on the keyboard it finally woke from sleep mode i checked event log and it said
HAL event id 12 level error
The platform firmware has corrupted memory across the previous system power transition. Please check for updated firmware for your system.
so this not being the first time this happened i took the ram out and waited 60 seconds and put it back in after the computer would not display everything running correctly it seemed but no monitor display
yes i tried more than one monitor
since then i replaced my motherboard but when i was putting in the new motherboard i accidently broke the cpu the pins are now bent going to buy a replacement cpu next month but my question is what caused this will my system work when i put in the replacement cpu? and also both motherboards dont beep when missing components
the motherboard is an asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
