Computer wont find ethernet on my gigabyte motherboard

Upgraded ram then when i started computer the ethernet wont work, the cable plug in the light going but in the device manager the network adapter is missing the mother board is a gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2

You try reinstalling the driver on the CD that came with the motherboard?

reinstall old memories and problem disappeared?

When I loaded the network ethernet driver, the install package said it was installed and it wasn't. I had to reinstall from the chipset driver from the gigabyte site.
