I was upgrading my friends Pc, It was a 2700X, on a Asus tuf b450 plus gaming. I flashed its BIOS and then installed a nvme SSD and a 5600 cpu.
The installation went well, except It only got that screen with the gpu Brand and name then It went Black.

After a few tries I was thinking about it and mobo Splash screen showed UP after like 5 minutes. 5 more minutes I got the we detected a New processor screen but cant get past it. Been there for a good 15 minutes now. I tried reseating Memories. I removed the nvme SSD todo. Nothing changes.

What could It be??? Has anyone seen anything like It???

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

A before and after of your friend's specs would help us two fold.

I flashed its BIOS
Did you clear the CMOS after verifying that the BIOS was flashed successfully to the latest version?

Okay, something worth mentioning. After I flashed the BIOS I was getting a bsod after the load windows screen, something like storage not accessible. I changed BIOS settings to RAID mode and It loaded windows for some reason. I wanna stress that It was a working machine UP to the time I switched cpus. I downloader the New BIOS update on that Very computer.

I did not clear cmos after the flashing of the bios. I was actually thinking about doing It ...

Cpu: was 2700X, switched to 5600
Cpu cooler: stock, wraith prism
Motherboard: Asus b450 tuf plus gaming
Ram: 2x8gb g. Skill ripjaws v 3200mhz
Storage: 1tb hdd, 500gb sata SSD by SanDisk. Then I added (and later removed) a working 1tb Reletech SSD nvme that I used at my Pc and didnt need no more. I later removed It to ser If somehow It was the problem to no avail.
GPU: GTX 1060 6gb
Psu: im not sure which, id have tô ask him. But hey bought It Brand New for this guilda about 5 years Ago.
case: not sure but I think its cougars.
os: windows 10
monitor: not sure about the model. Its a 27 inch Dell monitor, Full HD.

I Will try the clear cmos thing!

Yes, I tried removing the cmos battery, waited five minutes, put It back in. Same problem.

In fact, I managed to pressa y on New cpu detected and have It work. It restarted after that. Still takes forever to get mobo Splash screen but now It Just restarted after like 2 minutes on mobo Splash screen
