Question Computer wont go past post

As the message entails, computer won't go past post, CPU light is on for POST, I went to install a new M.2 SSD that just arrived and after installing it this started to occur, if it means anything all fans go to max on startup, I've done the following,

1. Took off CPU fan and radiator and redid thermal paste
2. Take out CPU and reseat it
3. Even put everything on cardboard box to test if short circuit somewhere
4. Checked CPU pins and they look fine to me

CPU: i5-9600k
Mobo: z390 UD
Cooler: Cooler master 212 evo
GPU: MSI RTX 2070 SUPER armor OC
Ram: 8gb x 4 ddr4 3200mhz
PSU: EVGA 750 gold+

Installing an M.2 SSD disables one or more SATA ports, check your MB manual to see which one(s)

You sure it could be that? I couldn't even get to bios it just failed on POST

I tried all sata connections and it still doesn't work

Update: tried old PSU and same problem
