Computer won't load most websites and freezes

My Acer Aspire V5-431P (Windows 8) was working with no issues until a few days ago.

I first noticed that it wouldn't load most websites:
It would load Facebook, the Google search engine and Gmail, but as far as my attempts went, I couldn't find any other websites it would load.

At a similar time to this, my laptop begun to freeze at random intervals. It would not function for around 20-30 seconds, before returning to normal as if nothing had occurred.

Note: These problems do not occur when loaded in Safe Mode with Networking.

I have run several different virus scanners as well as the utilities found in

delete all the acer software from the laptop as it is all crapware that can cause these sorts of problems, if you use avast get rid of it as its also a system hog and can cause pc slowdowns.

good alternative antivirus is commodo or avg.

once you have done the above also get ccleaner and run the file cleaner then the registry cleaner multiple times till it finds no errors.
