Question Computer won't open programs

So I was playing a game earlier and it crashed. After that I was unable to restart it as it would just close right after opening. I soon realized that this also applied to other programs aswell. Searching around I can only find stuff about computers not starting any programs.

Programs that won't start:

• Spotify
• Adobe reader (+installer for adobe reader as I tried to re-install it)
• NZXT CAM
• Musescore 3
• Any games on steam

Programs that will start

• Google Chrome
• Discord
• Steam
• Microsoft Word

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

What version of Windows 10 are you on at the time of writing? Might want to make sure your critical data on the OS installation drive is/are backed up in case you need to reinstall your OS.

I'm on version 20H2. So I decided to do the clean install, however, my computer won't run the RefreshWindowsTool

I'm also not able to reset windows from the settings or run the program to make an usb with the install program
