Computer won't pick up ethernet cable

Both lights for my ethernet cable light up and when I plug it into my xbox and laptop it still works.

Both lights for my ethernet cable light up and when I plug it into my xbox and laptop it still works.

So the cable works for other devices just not your PC?
Have you tried checking your settings and troubleshooting like that?

It turns out I didn't have a driver for my ethernet cable so I had to take it near my router to install one.
