Specs:
mobo: M5A99FX pro R2
CPU: FX8350
GPU: 2x R9280x (one asus and ther msi)
RAM: 16gb
PSU: EVGA supernova 800W gold certified
Storage: 2x 250Gb samsung 840 pro
I was trying to setup RAID 0 on the two SSD's, I changed the settings in the bios from AHCI to RAID and tried booting from my optical drive to install windows 7. However instead op opening windows setup a message came up saying "The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device. Click ok to enter BIOS Setup". It further added to go into the CSM Paremeters in the bios and adjust the settings to enable the boot device. After reading that, I tried going into the CSM setings and the options available were legacy, UEFI, legacy and UEFI and disabled.
After trying out the different options and getting the same message i tried switching the CSM to diabled. After saving and resetting, the computer wouldn't even post and I cannot go back in the bios. The boot device LED is lit and there is no beep. All the components are working fine as I have been using the computer for months with no problem. Is there anything I can do to get back into the BIOS?
I have already tried using the direct key on the motherboard but same issue. I also tried connecting a HDD with windows installed and still nothing.
Please help!! I have no idea what else to try at this point. I'm hoping I wont have to do something drastic like a BIOS flashback.
