Computer won't post or show screen

I have recently rebuilt a computer with a hyper evo 212, 4790k, gtx 970, MSI Z97i ac, rm650, 8GB 1866 hyperx ram, ect.

After rebuilding the computer, I was unable to get a monitor to show any source of video, I tried resetting cmos, booting without the graphics card and taking it out of my case just in case it was shorting out.

The fans spin on my CPU and gpu (if its plugged in) however, no picture. What should I do?

Well if you did go through all the steps then something is probably defective. Why did you rebuild the computer? Did you replace any parts? I would say its most likely the motherboard, do you have any other motherboards lying around that you know work?

I rebuilt it because I got a new CPU cooler
